Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the mission of InsightJourney?

InsightJourney's mission is to develop meaningful, evidence-informed, and accessible tools, content, and programs that support children, adolescents, and families in cultivating healthier emotional lives.

The project aims to empower young people to practice essential skills early in life—including emotion regulation, self-reflection, resilience, metacognition, and self-efficacy—and to leverage everyday experiences and challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.

InsightJourney is dedicated to creating high-quality and responsible products that are engaging, easy to understand, and practical for everyday use.

2. What is the vision of InsightJourney?

InsightJourney envisions a future where children and adolescents learn emotional, metacognitive, and resilience-related skills early in life and can apply them over the long term.

The long-term vision is to contribute to a world in which prevention, emotional education, and healthy psychological development are more strongly integrated into families, schools, and society.

InsightJourney aims to support future generations by creating pathways through which young people can strengthen these skills in a motivating yet easily accessible way.

3. When will the products be available?

InsightJourney products are currently under development and validation.

The first programs are scheduled to be released gradually between late 2026 and early 2027.

Parents, schools, professionals, and organizations interested in early access can join the waiting list to receive updates and information about future participation opportunities.

4. Can children sign up for the newsletter directly?

For reasons of data privacy and the protection of minors, we do not collect direct newsletter registrations from children and adolescents under the age of 18.

If a child or teenager is interested in the programs, we ask that a parent or legal guardian complete the registration.

This approach helps us comply with GDPR requirements as well as child and youth protection standards, while ensuring safe communication channels.

6. How much screen time do the programs involve?

InsightJourney consciously takes into account the challenges associated with excessive screen time, especially among children and adolescents.

At the same time, we believe that technology can be a powerful and accessible way to provide preventive and educational tools and to reach people where they are.

For this reason, the programs are deliberately designed to be moderate, structured, and balanced in their digital use.

Most programs currently include about one session per week lasting approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the respective format and context.

In addition, the programs can be supplemented by offline activities, reflection exercises, conversations, books, print materials, and practical exercises outside the digital environment.

5. Does InsightJourney use artificial intelligence (AI)?

No. Current InsightJourney programs—including the family, school, and medical development areas—do not use artificial intelligence.

The pedagogical concepts and therapeutic frameworks are developed by humans and follow structured preventive and educational approaches.

7. How can I or my child participate in studies, pilot projects, or early testing phases?

Parents, schools, and individuals interested in future studies, pilot projects, usability tests, or early access phases can join the InsightJourney waitlist.

As development progresses, selected participants may receive invitations to participate in:

  • Research studies

  • Pilot projects

  • Usability tests

  • Validation programs

  • or early participation phases

Participation is always voluntary and subject to appropriate consent, data privacy, and ethical standards.

Depending on the study or program, participants may also receive compensation, benefits, or early access.
